Stuart Hodgkinson, director of Proficio Education was pleased to be able to represent the company and the School Resource Management Advisers at the Institute of School Business Leaders conference and the School and Academies Show, both at the NEC in Birmingham.
At the SAAS Stuart was part of a panel with other Trust leaders to talk about the school funding situation. It coincided with the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement that contained better news for schools then expected but still represents a financial settlement that will put considerable strain on the sector’s budgets and will probably mean a real cost reduction in funding for 23-24 and beyond. Proficio Education will continue to work with others in the sector to press the government to ensure investment in education is given the highest priority.

Proficio Education Timetable Construction key for Ofsted improvement
The Headteacher of All Saints Catholic High School in Kirby considers that Proficio Education’s timetable construction expertise has been a ‘huge contributory factor’ in its Good Ofsted judgement. Tony McGuinness, Headteacher at the school wrote the following
5+ years of superbly written timetables have been a huge factor in the turnaround of the school. It’s just over seven years ago that we were in Special Measures and the timetable has contributed to improved outcomes (and therefore a school that is over-subscribed in every year group) and our well-deserved Ofsted report.
Stuart Hodgkinson, Director of Proficio Education, was delighted to receive such recognition from the school.
In my 30 years working in schools I have simply wanted to improve to the outcomes of young people. I strongly believe that the quality of the timetable construction makes a huge difference and it is so pleasing to see this recognised.
