Integrated Curriculum and Financial Planning is not a new concept. It involves maximising the resources available in schools and ensuring that money is spent in the right areas – something that schools have been doing for decades. However, new financial accountability means that schools and trusts now need to demonstrate this, using ICFP metrics and benchmarking. DfE decisions around MAT expansion and capital funding can be subject to schools and Trusts successfully showing efficient and effective resource management. Accredited by the DfE in 2018, Stuart Hodgkinson is one of the most experienced Schools Resource Management Advisors in the country. Over the last seven years, he has conducted SRMA deployments in a wide variety of settings across all phases and is responsible for assessing, accrediting and quality assuring the work of other SRMAs.
Proficio Education offers an ICFP consultancy service. This is usually a 2-3 day process involving a one day onsite visit where Stuart will closely review all aspects of the curriculum and financial operations and then write a report that provides opportunities to make efficiencies. The cost of this service depends on the size and complexity of the Trust but is in the range of £1,600-£2,000 (ex VAT).
