Overview
This two-day course is designed to provide the essential knowledge and skills to construct a school timetable using TimeTabler software. This course takes someone with little or no previous experience of timetable construction to a level where they have all the knowledge and skills to be able to construct a standard secondary school timetable using TimeTabler. Each course is limited to a maximum of ten delegates, thus allowing the trainer to spend individual time with each delegate.
The details of the 2026 courses are now confirmed, with booking details below. We deliver both in person and virtual courses, but we encourage schools to consider the benefits of face to face delivery as we consider this is often the best method to ensure delegates get the most from the training and ensure it fully meets their needs.
Who is it for?
This is an ideal course for staff with a new responsibility for constructing the school timetable but could also be useful for staff wanting to refresh their skills after a period away from construction.
This course assumes some knowledge of school timetables but the course is suitable for those with little or no prior knowledge of TimeTabler. To provide for the best possible individual support, we only allow a maximum of ten delegates on this course.
Where a school has migrated from SIMS and has people familiar with NovaT6 construction, it may be preferable for them to sign up for our one day TimeTabler Migration Course.
