Answers to Data Challenges for 2016-17

In a school system used to constant change these next two years will see exceptional upheavals that bring considerable challenges to our use of data in secondary schools. These changes include:-

  • 9-1 GCSE Grading
  • Life without NC levels
  • New KS2 SATS scores

As if often the case, the government have been slow to provide answers to the key data questions, relating to tracking student progress, performance measures and accountability, leaving school leaders in the dark about these crucial issues.
